8th September, 2019 witnessed a grand and special ceremony held at W Shanghai The Bund—the 9•9 International True Love Day. It was a time when people from the world over came together to embrace love. Different from previous celebrations of the True Love Day, scientific and technological innovation came to the fore this time. The Humanity Intelligence (HI) Ambassador, Irene, struck a chord with the audience by showing them the warmth and power of true love via high-tech. Immersed in beautiful memories of love, all the guests present started to contemplate the meaning of love. H.E. Mr. Dhirendra Bhatnagar, President of World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Associations (WFUCA), Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former Prime Minister of France, Mr. Benoît Guidée, Consul General of France in Shanghai, Mr. Christophe Lauras, President of CCIFC, scholars and professors from Harvard University, AI experts and academicians, distinguished guests as well as journalists from home and abroad gathered together for this wondrous festival, in honor of true love and humanities.

Irene sang the theme song of the festival—True Love for Life

With the aid of leading holographic technologies in the world, Irene, True Love Ambassador of the 9•9 International True Love Day, broke the reins of time and space, travelling all the way from a futuristic world to the stage where she interacted actively with the AI specialists. When asked what on earth was true love, Irene used her super brain and made a perfect response, “True love is both close and far-off, both tremendous and trivial. As long as we bear it in our hearts, true love is everywhere.” Irene continued to tug at the heartstring of the audience by performing a touching song called True Love for Life, custom-made for the event by famous musician, a world-renowned musician.

The 9•9 International True Love Day, as the first global festival that commemorates true love and humanities, has entered the United Nations and gained recognition and support from many heads of states, politicians and authorities. H.E. Mr. Dhirendra Bhatnagar, President of WFUCA, once again participated in the festival by delivering a keynote speech. He spoke highly of the festival and the spirit of true love it advocated for, saying that “its meaning and expression has never changed and it will remain the same for as long as the human race will exist on the planet earth.”

At the same time, Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former Prime Minister of France, also shared with the audience his support for the concept of true love and delivered a passionate speech in the form of a video. “I am very concerned about the growing tension and threat in this world… This meeting is very important, for it best expresses our national temperament that is composed of culture and sensibility… Irene is an image of love and beauty…I would like to say that in our world, basically, we need love more than anything else.”

Mr. Benoît Guidée, Consul General of France in Shanghai, delivered a speech

Professor Snow (Patricia A. Graham Level) and Professor Selman (Roy E. Larsen Level) of Harvard University were core members of Goldian & Harvard Professors’ Educational Research and Practice Center. They also shared their thoughts about true love and humanities and expressed their support for the festival in the form of a video.
